The Society for Sports-based Youth Development envisions a world where every young person has access to transformative sports experiences that empower them to reach their full potential. We believe in harnessing the power of sports to inspire resilience, foster leadership, and cultivate a sense of community, enabling youth to thrive physically, emotionally, and socially. Our goal is to create inclusive environments where diversity is celebrated, and every young person, regardless of background, can participate, learn, and grow through sports.

Innovating Sports for Youth Empowerment

The mission of the Society for Sports-based Youth Development (SBYD) is to advocate for and implement innovative sports programs that promote holistic youth development. We are committed to providing resources, training, and support to educators, coaches, and community leaders, empowering them to deliver high-quality, inclusive sports initiatives.

Through collaboration and partnerships, we strive to address the challenges facing youth today, such as academic pressure, mental health concerns, and socio-economic barriers, ensuring that every young person can experience the life-changing benefits of sports.
